Changes happening to your body in week 19
Even if you have felt the first feeble movements a week or so earlier, it is only in this week that you will be able to distinguish properly between the movements of your baby and other physical changes taking place inside your tummy, such as gas formation and hunger pangs. Here are the other physical changes that are likely to happen in your body around week 19:
Your uterus starts moving towards your abdominal area. You will be able to feel the top of the uterus below your naval.
You start to feel heavy around your middle portion due to the daily expansion of your tummy and the increasing weight that you are bearing.
You might get a dense feeling in your pelvis. This happens because your uterus has grown to accommodate your baby, the placenta, the amniotic fluid, the membranes and the umbilical cord.
The change in your centre of gravity affects your balance and causes you to lean backwards often.
You may experience backache at this stage as your baby grows at a good rate every day.
