I love serving others and helping those in need, it makes me feel good and makes my heart happy knowing I could help a person or make that person's day. I think the church as body of Christ is the model that needs to be stressed more. I think this because, the church is made up of mostly males, priest, bishops, popes, there all males. I think women should have a bigger part in the church and be able to become priest or deacons, whatever they want. The church as body of Christ is all about making people feel like they have a place and role, but how can that be possible if women's involvement is so limited. Don't get me wrong, men do a great job, I just think the option should be open to women.
All in all, the church has evolved for the better, but still managing to keep some of the same teachings and structures of the early church. People should want to go to church, profess their faith, and celebrate God, not be forced to go to church and believe things that they don't believe. Making people's day and helping them is something I am very proud of. Seeing women have a bigger role in the church would be an awesome change.
