There are four levels of behaviour in which psychologists use to explain how one acts. These levels are person level, basic level, biological level and socio-cultural level. Carter Wilson is a fictitious character from the MTV TV Show, ‘Finding Carter’. Using the four levels, analysis and explanations of her behaviour will be conducted.
The person level refers to the differences of behaviour in individuals. The person level also considers age, gender, personality, intelligence and motivation (confidence and problem solving abilities). You don’t know the full story of why they’re acting a certain way. The repercussions for this character is people could believe that Carter is very short tempered and aggressive, even though it is because of all the pressure that she is put under by her family and peers. Analysing people in real life can cause people to perceive someone differently than who they actually are. It can make people treat others differently by creating conclusions about someone based on what they see. This could make an individual feel conscious as they think that they did something wrong.
