First of all Buck and my dad both experienced pain. Even though they both went through pain, Buck’s was more extreme. My dad got a really bad injury from football. On the other hand, Buck got beat up by his owners and other teammates physically and emotionally. Together, Buck and my dad both used a strong sense of strength to get through it. Using strength, Buck kept going inside even when he was too weak. My dad used his last bit of strength in his arm to get better. Buck used strength all over opposed to my dad using strength just for his arm. Buck needed a long recovery after a brutal injury as well as my dad needed a long recovery for his arm. For Bucks recovery, he rested with John Thornton after he got injured. For my dad’s recovery, he had to complete physical therapy to rehabilitate his arm. My dad was out of football for a while.
