Thorton’s command cracked out like a pistol-shot. Buck threw himself forward, tightening the traces with a clashing lunge. While the audience are in disbelief, and the bets are going up by the minute. Buck is wondering if its really happening, but he’s having weird flashbacks to the days he was living a perfect life. He was cut off by a loud shout while have these flashbacks.
“BUCK ARE YOU READY” yelled Thorton, as he’s whispering slowly to him buck only hears one thing he says “I will love you buck if you win or lose”. Buck felt cold-hearted, he would never want to lose because he has an promising guardian. As he’s getting ready to pull this 3 ton sled suddenly, the audience is actually gratified of what encouragement buck has.
“I bet $6000 that slender mutt can't do it”

Buck never really thought this would be happening: thinking to himself why would a good dog be but in a certain position. Buck took a deep breath and loosening his muscles and I was ready for the countdown.
“3…. 2….1” The gunshot when off when buck heard the loud noise he bursted of in flames. He ran so fast he lost traction and his footsteps. Soon, he stumbled and fell but, he tried so hard to get back up and finally broke his leg into pieces. The cause of the damage was that he was pulling 2 tons and he tried so hard to pull and tried a little to hard. As thorton watched him, he knelt beside him and searched for any other injurers. By the time he searched buck was down and whining loudly, but they could see in his eyes he really needed help. Thorton thought really hard about the situation and he finally took buck to get treated and cured. During that time people stole every single thing in the sled, and people even broke Thorton sled. Soon, Thorton and his crew decided to go back to his home town California. So, they traveled through bus stations to bus stations because they were low on money. Buck was
