In my opinon, I think it would be a great idea to bring dogs to work. Dogs tend to brighten peoples' spirits when they are stressed out. I think it's a great idea, because people would feel less stress, be more productive in their work, and more relaxed at work. First, dogs would be amazing in the work area, because the workers would feel less stressed out. When you're working, you're being rushed to get things done, and who wouldn't want to take a moment and love on a dog? Also, people tend to take more sick days, and work less efficently from being stressed out. If workers could play with dogs throughout the day, they would probaby feel less stressed out, and work more productively. But, on the other hand, some people might be …show more content…
Mulitiple studies show that workers get more done, when work areas allows workers to bring their dogs. I believe, people would work more hours if they could bring their dogs with them to work. My boyfriend has a dog, and when he goes to work, he misses his dog. He would bring his dog to work with him if he could. On the opposing side, dogs might not behave in the office. I believe dogs are a good encouragement to work places. Lastly, workers would feel more relaxed with dogs at work. Workers would most likely stay at their jobs. Job owners that allow dogs has a more higher job statisfaction. Almost one in five American companies that allow dogs in the work area wouldn't continue it, unless it had the employees working more effient. In the article, "Against Bringing Dogs to Work" says that, dogs can chew up things, whine, and jump on people. But, I still believe dogs in the work area help employees stay more happy. In conclusion, I believe dogs are a great idea for work areas. Dogs tend to make people less stressed out, be more productive, and more relaxed. If any employees has a problem with a dog in the workplace, simply keep the dog away from employee's work
