Righteous B and His Ministry of Dirty Vagabonds
There are many people who have made an impact when it comes to Youth
Ministry. Pope John Paul II comes to mind when thinking about leaders in youth
outreach, but I always think of someone who works on a much smaller scale. Someone
who affected my life personally when it came to my religion. I always think of the
Catholic youth minister and rapper Bob Lesnefsky aka Righteous B. With his wife, and a
large number of young missionaries Righteous B spreads Gods word across the country.
Bob Lesnefsky, also known as the Catholic rapper Righteous B, is a rapper and

with violence and were about to leave. In the end they stayed, and fully dove into being
youth ministers in the inner city. This was the start to Dirty Vagabond Ministries.1
While well known in the Roman Catholic community for his rapping, Bob’s
greatest contribution is the inner city based youth outreach program Dirty Vagabond
Ministries. Bob and his wife started Dirty Vagabonds in 2005, to bring inner city kids
closer to God. They started the program by going to parks or other areas in the projects
and would se up picnics and feed the people in that area. They began to talk to these
