Heroes in society are there for people to look up to, and believe in as something bigger than normal people. Heroes can be anyone in the society, not only ones as strong and mighty as Beowulf or Batman. Heroes like Beowulf and Batman are not needed in society because they come from books that are based on fiction. In the real world, heroes tend to be more like soldiers, firefighters, policemen, teachers, parents or even sports players. These people are more realistic heroes that we look up to today. That is why in fictional stories such as, Beowulf and Batman, heroes are needed to defeat evil, but in society today, they have no use.
