"No Country For Old Men" and "Back to The Future 3"
I personally think that the movies "No Country For Old Men" and "Back to The Future 3" have many similarities. On the other hand, they also have quite a few differences. For example, they both represent a change in time, the main characters go through a dramatic life changing moment, finally, they both have to do right morally and ethically. Some differences are, corruption was involved in one of the movies and not the other, one movie shows justice or a higher law and, the final difference is, the power located within the movies. The first main theme in both of these movies is, they both represent changing in times. The movie "No Country For Old Men" the theme of changing in time is when the main character comes across a drug deal gone haywire, and doesn't report his incident to the police, but instead takes

In both of these movies they go through problems and change their whole lives immensely. An example is in "Back to The Future 3" when Marty and Doc go back into time and the lifestyle back then was completely different. Marty's Dad passed away from a murder, then her Mom marries a guy who is in charge of the whole town. Characters in both of these movies have to do what's right morally and ethically, in "No Country For Old Men" he had the make the traumatizing decision to call the police and report the crime or take the money, he chose to take the money. In contrast there are some noticeable differences, in "No Country For Old Men" there was a lot of corruption and is based on the war on drugs that is in that industry. Another difference is in "No Country For Old Men"the higher law had a big part in the movie, while in "Back to The Future 3" there was no reference to the a higher law. Lastly, in "No Country For Old

S.E Hinton wrote the outsiders when she was in high school and did not plan to publish the story. Since then it has been made into a book and a movie. I think the book was bad because it did not give the effects that the movie did. I liked the movie because it had more of the story put into it detail wise. While the book and movie have many similarities and differences, the movie was more effective in telling the story.…

Journal Entry The movie “A Time to Kill” is similar to the classic novel “To Kill a Mockingbird” as a white lawyer is defending an innocent African American man, but the predominantly white jury is the only obstacle that both men have of getting freedom and receiving true justice. The ending is where the two break apart as Carl Lee Hailey is pronounced innocent and gets to live, while Tom Tom Robinson ( still at court but believes that Atticus will fail) dies while trying to escape prison. Both the novel and film depicts how the justice system in the south is not fair as the jury cannot see beyond the skin colour of the accused. I believe that the actions that Carl Lee Hailey did was justified as the two rapists Billy Ray Cobb and Pete…
