The hospital is still known to the same purpose to children as it did back when it was built. In the journal “Social Validation of the New England Center for Children-Core Skills Assessment” by Chata Dickson (et al.) a study was done in England about autistic children and how they developed their skills for learning. The source had five points that they wanted autistic children to be able to accomplish after they had finished the experiment. The first one was for the children to be capable of focusing on everything going on around them. The second one was being able to copy someone else doing something and mimicking their behaviors and actions. The third was to see how well they could speak and understand english. The fourth one was of them developing their skills for enjoyment. The last one was how well they could interact with others. To start off the study, children and their parent’s took a survey to understand the skills of the parents as well as the children and what level of skill they had (Dickson et al
