In chapter 12 I will be discussing the autism spectrum disorders. With screening and advancements diagnosis and intervention their hopes and dreams that can't be filled. As most people will witness the autism spectrum is from very small to large.ASD was identified by Johns Hopkins a psychiatrist Leo Kanner. Is the is not a laughing matter these individuals have a very hard life and challenges that will continue through the lifespan. Useful techniques and research with databases enhance strategies ithat are very important and must not be glanced over.

Bob and Susan Ray took the extra step in leading a national organization called Autism Speaks relaying the importance to friends ,family and individuals . They were looking Guidance for their grand child's disorder. Let's educate the communities well to better understand the difficulties somebody with ASD may struggle with every day with how hey relate to others.
The three set ASD syndromes are autism, Aspergers,syndrome, pervasive development disorder.

The definition of autism is one of the autistic spectrum disorders ranging from high to low functioning. Asperger syndrome is one of the autism spectrum disorders , where cognition is usually in the average or above average range. With all three problems developing adequate social behaviors and skills are restricted. Some of the characteristics of autism or impairment in reciprocal social interactions, poor communication abilities, insistent on sameness, and unusual behavior patterns. With these disorders self injury and aggression are very prevalent and we need to train them with the important skills for success , while releasing stress.
