Pervasive Developmental Disorders are described as an individual being impaired with deviant social behavior and communication skills (Nissenbaum et al, 2002). Autism is ranged from severe to mild due to the severity of the symptoms (Nissenbaum et al, 2002). Also, autism affects children through a category of their cognitive, social, and communication skills (Nissenbaum et al, 2002).
