We are introduced to many heroes in our lifetime, but many people view a hero in countless ways. Heroes are different from each other, but all follow the path of greatness to reach their goals. Different heroes are unique in their own ways. Heroes may be viewed in many ways and not necessarily just the average hero who is expected to save the world, but they can also assist a person when dealt in a situation of loneliness or the incapability of protecting oneself. This is a great example of Juror 8 in 12 Angry Men. Or maybe a hero who seeks the truth while facing adversity, and influencing others as a role model. Atticus also explains how everyone has told a lie, and the color of your skin does not determine if you’ve told a lie or not. Another trait as of heroism is, being a role model to the youth and inspiring them. Atticus teaches his kids young to respect every human being and not to assume the reputation of another person before standing in their shoes, “If you can learn a simple trick, Scout, you’ll get along a lot better with all kinds of folks. You never really understand a person until you consider things from his point of view until you climb into his skin and walk around it” (Lee, 39).
