The city of Atlantis was found by the greek god Poseidon. Atlantis is believed to be larger than Libya and Asia minor put together. The city was very wealthy and everybody that lived there was happy. Until the gods got upset with the atlanteans, and created an earthquake, making big waves and submerging the city of Atlantis. The story was written by a greek philosopher Plato.

According to plato, Atlantis was submerged by the gods. According to the legend of Plato’s writing, Atlantis was sunk by the greek god Zeus. The gods started marrying atlanteans and the people of Atlantis got greedy and started capturing more land around the mediterranean. The god Zeus then got upset and sent a huge earthquake that caused Atlantis to sink into the sea. The island had sunk in the matter of one day and one night.
