The colonist feel as though we do not have the right to tax them because we don’t represent all of them . You need to prove to them that even the ones who can’t vote are represented in our decisions. We are talking care of not only the British but also the colonist. The colonist benefit from our protection so we need the money to provide out protection to them.

In order to receive protection and benefits from the British, the colonists need to agree to the taxation to continue to receive protection and benefits of the British.
Background Info:
The British are trying to protect the colonist, but they can’t do that without finance. The colonist have to pay fewer taxes than Englishman in Britain. The colonist benefit from the protection of the British navy. They should be willing if not able to pay for their own protection. They think because the British have the right to tax other colonies that they will go up in prices because they want to or feel like it. Also another point they will bring up is that the war was for the expansion of the empire not to protect the colonist. Parliament does not feel as though the colonist represent them, or anyone for that matter. They believe it violates their rights because they are Having a property taken away from them, without their permission, they feel as though the government should protect them from this kind of
