Push polling is a marketing technique and a polling strategy that allows a team to push a certain agenda and favor a candidate without being outright. The polling is conducted with subtle changes in a normal question that has a high chance of making voters lean in a certain direction, as many do not involve themselves extremely tightly in politics. This could benefit you greatly as more voters would support you without a direct request or call to action. However, informed voters may easily recognize this strategy and support another candidate merely because of your team’s decision to use this method, while others will research the topic within the question and their support will go elsewhere. Trump is currently the frontrunner and push polling would likely sway many undecided voters your way as many of his risky statements could be used against him in these polls. However, risk still remains as voters may challenge the questions used within the poll, which may result in a bad reputation attached to your campaign. Also, if Trump realizes that your camp is utilizing this polling method, which he likely will through researchers, he will have a way to attack your entire campaign and his ability to influence people would hurt your reputation as a politician and even a
