This article helps to build a general acknowledgement of the issue in which many states are being pressed with. In this reading it helps to address both sides of the legalization of marijuana argument and to better understand what the cause and effect may be. The author Teri Capriotti is well educated on the subject due to intensive understanding and in depth research facing both sides of the argument. I plan on using this information in the logos I will use in my essay and this article helps to acknowledge the counter argument to legalization of marijuana many have.

The author Frederick Dreier builds a credible article in his firsthand experience in which he explains from a unbiased view. I plan on using this in the pathos portion in which It will help to better educate the audience on the possibilities of legalized marijuana and how it can alter someone’s life.

This article describes the effects of using marijuana and goes in depth as to why marijuana has been banned throughout the United States for many years and helps to understand the side effects and long term effects that marijuana may cause. The author is well educated on the subject through extensive research and study which helps to present evidence in a factual state. This article may not be of interest to my topic but was an interesting read to help better educate on the substance in which is topic of interest.

This article helps to understand the origin of why marijuana was illegalized and to help to understand why many of the reasons for illegalization of marijuana do not apply to modern day society and explains the positives in which marijuana may for come. The author Jacob Sullum builds a knowledgeable and factual argument in which he explain why many of the reasons why marijuana was banned and why those reasons do not apply to modern day society. I plan on using this to support my ethos and build substantial evidence to support my case of legalization.
