1. Introduction

The purpose of my report is to evaluate the interrelationship between human resource management, organisations and their environment. This report will examine the issue of how human resource teams are unable to function normally and work as a team to get the best possible results. I have chosen ANZ Bank as the organisation. ANZ specialises in understanding customers specific financial needs, the bank has a variety of services such as cash management, lending, investment and specialist services. ANZ bank is a large organisation in New Zealand and Australia with many branches throughout both of these countries. The trend is internal to ANZ as it needs to be resolved with the managers and people inside the business.ANZ need to look at how they can create a human resource team that can work together so that they can achieve the best outcomes within the organisation. Staffing shortage could occur if ANZ find the best applicants for the human resource team, or staff could be moved to a different section of ANZ where they would feel more comfortable with the job. Strategic human resource planning would need to take place to deal with the trend. The right people with the right skills at the right time (hrcouncil.ca para.2. ) Strategic planning is the right way to make sure the human resource team has all the right participants. This is key to ANZ so they can later predict future human resource management problems that occur in the organisation. Resources that are needed to help resolve this issue can be surveys for the human resource team. These surveys can help with any unanswered questions they have about why the team are not running as efficiently and smoothly as they should be. Academic research that supports my position as stated in CEB: 4 Ways to Improve Employees ' Work in 2016 ( 2015) Surveys can tell you how much of your workforce has these capabilities and provide a detailed picture of whether the workforce will support a given strategy. The results of the surveys can the tell you exactly what parts of the team are in need of a change. Having a perfect human resource team is relevant to all organisations. With the ideal team then projects move along faster and everything in general is more effective and efficient. A solution needed to deal with this issue is to find out from each member off the hr team why they think the team is to progressing well, the team need to work
