Throughout the article, it shows people protesting for tougher gun control laws. This happened shortly after the shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School which explains why they were protesting.
This source is objective. It provides information and backs it up without taking a particular side. The information is reliable because it is not opinion based. It provides facts which allow the reader to choose their own opinion. The main purpose of this article is to inform readers on the right to bear arms and situations where people were not safe, which is what resulted in the protests.
This source was helpful because it helped me understand the second amendment. It changed my perspective on the what I think about the right to bear arms. The examples it provided such as the shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary school helped shape my argument that there should be tougher gun control laws.
