This is a review of the article “Never Say Anything a Kid Can Say” by the author, Steve Reinhart. The author describes his struggle during the beginning of his instructional habits and the negative ramifications it had on his student’s conception of the subject matter. As Steve Reinhart researched and investigated he developed new ways to instruct his classroom in a more efficient way. Steve Reinhart gives us insight on going from a traditional teacher-centered classroom to a progressive student-centered classroom.
Analysis
In this article, the author believed he had assembled a spectacular lesson plan for his class. After pouring his everything into the concepts and details of the masterpiece lesson, the students had not been able to grasp any of it. They were all confused and the

With this experience, Steve Reinhart, dedicated himself to improving his instructional techniques and discovered a student centered classroom. He focused lessons around student involvement and questions to encourage discussions.
When instructing, Steve Reinhart implemented guidelines to serve as reminders as he taught. Instead of lecturing students on the subject, he reframes statements into questions, so students come up with their own conclusions. Ask good questions, questions requiring students to think and teachers can access their thought processes. It is very important to allow time in between question and discussion to have students process what is being taught. Make sure all the students have an opportunity to participate and participation is required. During questions and discussion time some guidelines were developed to encourage positive dialog.
