According to my sister, there is usually a wait when it comes to eating at Cheddar 's Casual Cafe. But we had nothing to worry about; Shockingly, the restaurant was not as busy as it is usually known to be. Once we had reached the podium where the smiling attentive hostess stood, we were asked if we wanted to be seated at table or if we wanted to be seated at a booth. We had chose to be seated at a table, because of the possible larger parties that could possibly come during the time that we were eating. While walking back though, I began to become slightly disappointed. All around us, there was little to medium sized wads of paper from the straws, and napkins on the floor. Once we had reached the table that we were going to be seated at, the dirty floors was not much of a problem; Fortunately we did not have as much debris on the floor around us as the other

After the quality of the food is considered, the next logical thing to look at is how it is being served. The service is another important factor when eating out because it sets the stage of how the meal will go. If the employees are rude or disrespectful it will ruin the rest of the night because even after the issue is solved the customer will still be fuming after the encounter. On the other hand if the service is wonderful the customer can then focus on the quality of the food. It is already clear that Chick-fil-A’s food is excellent, so it is important to analyze their service to see if it is up to par with similar restaurants and if it is unique.…

The Gourmet Problem Reading “Today’s Special” by David Sedaris made me realize that I not only agree with his disdain of gourmet food and its seeming takeover of normal restaurants with normal food but also that I am a food snob. First of all, when I order a traditional meal of meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and green beans, I expect the meatloaf not to be mixed with prunes and drowning in a peach sauce accompanied by mashed potatoes made with cauliflower –where’s the potatoes?- and vanilla green bean amandine. Then I realized that while others are snobbish about ‘normal, boring food’, I am a reverse food snob. Food does not have to be bland…

Many people have also said this, some say it is for the better, others say for the worse.
