An amazing experience

As an international student, I attended a private high school, which was Fairmont Preparatory Academy in Anaheim. When I attended this school, there was about 500 students. Most of them were international students from China, Japan, Vietnam, Korea,… Fairmont Prep offered twenty-three Advanced Placement courses, which were AP Calculus AB, Calculus BC, AP Chemistry, AP Physic, AP Biology,… Fairmont Prep was one of a few Orange County private schools provided International Baccalaureate courses. It offered twenty-one IB courses including Spanish IB, English IB HL 1, Mathematics IB SL, Mathematics IB HL,… I love the way my high school provided a variety of pathways for international students and domestic students to follow. Students had a lot of opportunities to choose the right courses that were suitable for their ability in Fairmont Prep. Throughout my three years at Fairmont, I had chances to take AP Calculus AB and AP Calculus BC. These two classes were really helpful and enjoyable. Especially, my AP Calculus BC class was the most meaningful class to me. I discovered what I want to apply for my major through the time I spent studying hard with the best teacher I could ever ask for. My AP Calculus BC teacher, Mr. Cal, who is well-known as one of the best teacher in the nation, taught me the unique way to study math. He taught me to understand all the formulas instead of memorizing them. He divided the whole class into several groups and made us compete…
