“Always Concede on Principle” means that if you really want to achieve a goal, you have to tell people that they are right or tell them what they want to hear. Chris Matthews states, “In a surprising number of circumstances, the best way to achieve a goal is to concede the argument.” (Matthews, 146). Ronald Reagan did this when he launched a campaign for the MX. The campaign was rejected from Congress because they thought it was the stupidest idea they can ever heard of.
