If a person has a bad action, it involves various bad consequences, on the other hand if there is a good action, it will bring in good consequences; for example: more happiness and pleasure. Similarly, ethical egoism has the same purpose as saving others in a good way and torturing the suspects. The rule of utilitarianism is more efficient because it increases the amount of happiness and pleasure while making good decisions. Also, it relates to a good result in applying for jobs, have good intentions toward others, and have a sense of logical mind to create good decisions. As a rule of utilitarianism, the chief of British Domestic Security Agency, will refrain from torturing the suspect because based on the rule of utilitarianism, the person has to decide on the best option that will bring the most happiness while abiding the rules. The chief has to obey the rules in a sincere way so that everybody can gain his love and appreciation . In making a right decision, he has to (1) find a way for the terrorists to leave the area and (2) to make sure everyone is safe and sound and remove them from the building. Both consequences leads to good actions because he is trying to avoid any circumstances between the terrorists and the lives of many human beings. Alongside, the police can keep their hands to themselves because that shows that they have morals to handle various behaviors.
