In the article, it mentioned that a London physician conducted an autopsy on a 34 years old patient who suffer from breathing problem. The doctor found massive scarring and asbestos fibers embedded in the man’s lung. From the record, it showed that the patient had worked in the factory which has contact with asbestos for 16 years. The diagnosis of asbestosis leads from the occurrence of pleural disease and pulmonary fibrosis.Therefore, the physicians considered the asbestos exposure lead to the illness such as mesothelioma or other breathing problem from lung. Part of the reason is because the company lies to miners that the dust is harmless. Another reason is that company hide the truth of harmful agent has already infect these miner’s body. Arthur Bundrock, a miner who has work in the mine for 19 years, was die from asbestos fiber on 1998. His whole family was infected because he brought the dust back to home from the mine. His son, Bill, was also diagnosed from X-ray to have asbestosis before the company hired him. However, they hided the truth from him and made him work in the mine for 10 years. People start to recognize the problem when they feels that the symptom of asbestosis was not similar to flu. Therefore, the link between the agent and illness could not be made early enough for the people in Libby because of the lack of communication of
