1.4 Limitation
Although the research collected a good amount of data, there are some limitations. This research study is limited to only a few groups of students who registered for online classes. The results of the research are specific to Graduate students who took online classes at Eastern Illinois University. Although this research provides a platform to examine the impact of online classes on student retention also online classes are time restrictive study.
Delimitation
Participation in this study is delimited to a) students at the research site; b) students enrolled in fully online courses c) Students who enrolled in all the online courses.The study mainly focusses on examination of student retention and GPA of a student who took online classes also this study mainly focuses on the impact of student retention and GPA and their performance. This research focuses on Qualitative methodology by assessing student retention and their performance in gaining GPA
