Aria Hale pushed up her thick glasses, magnifying her emerald green eyes. She tightened her short, chocolate coloured ponytail, getting ready for the hunt. Pens hung in her collared shirt’s pocket and her oversized chemistry book in her arms begged for somewhere to lay. Lunch was a war zone, but the library for her was a safe house. It kept her safe from all humiliation she would get herself into.

Knelling down, she grasped the small, blue book in her hands. It read ‘A lifetime by Aria Hale’.
Aria’s heart and soul bubbled with happiness. This is the one. She found a little nook and began reading.
Aria was halfway through the book and she could a deep, darkness stirring in her stomach. Something was definitely not right. The book was relatable, too relatable. It knew everything that had happened in her life, all the good, all the bad. It knew when she was in the 5th grade and she stole money out of her mother’s purse. It knew about the time she accidently forgot to feed the fish and it died.
Aria’s brain exploded, her eyes popping out of her head. What if it wasn’t just a super freaky relatable book? Could this be her actual life story? Aria’s hands began shaking, her heart was drumming faster and faster inside her ribcage. Her breathing became more rapid and the hollow feeling in her chest expanded. Trying (but failing) to swallow the golf ball down her, Aria focused back on the page and resumed reading.
She kept reading until the part Aria found the book. Glancing at the pages remaining, she realise only few were left. Wait, does that mean she was going to die? Why is her story ending so
