Loving That O Connor Boy Book Review

As soon as I began reading this touched and passionate book, I started to feel more confident from how outgoing the main character was. I had always wanted to read a story like this but I could never seem to find the right one every time I looked. The feelings and emotion behind this story is indescribable, I could barely put it into words. This is a heartfelt story that I recommend to a number of people, mostly teens and young adults. It’s a bit sophisticated at some times but I loved it. In this book there is a dignified love that nobody saw coming.
What is being showed in the book “Loving That O’Connor Boy” by Diane Hoh is the story of a teenage girl falling for a troublemaker boy in her grade. Though their relationship may begin as toxic,

One of the assets which the author possesses is phrasing and choice of words. Her sentence structures flowed very nicely and did not run on too much. It was pleasing to read and wasn’t too complicated to understand. Furthermore, the author of this book also used great detail in her story. This book has taught me so much about how true love never fails no matter what happens. The little things in life matter more than the big things. Also that you should never judge someone by their appearance because they are different inside the things you can’t see with a human naked eye, you have to get to know that person to find the truly special, ideal things inside with the loving warm caring hearts. “People die, but love doesn’t,” I learned that even if people pass away there is still that true love that never escapes the hearts of people that are still here on earth. Just like when Marguerite passed away Eddie still loved her with all his heart and the same goes for Marguerite that even when she was in heaven.…

Since the last time I wrote a journal, I have finished reading Richelle Mead’s Shadow Kiss. This story is about the main character, Rose, and how she has to research deeper into her mind to figure out why she feels all sorts of emotions, what her fate is, and why the Queen’s nephew, Adrian, keeps telling her she has a ‘dark aura’ around her. Rose, in addition, has to make sure her best friend, Lissa, is okay through their magical bond, which allows Rose to see what Lissa can see. This is a dystopian story, about vampires and their guardians. The second half of this book is about how Rose comes to a conclusion about her fate.…

I hear the familiar yell of my mother from downstairs as I scramble to fix the bookshelf I had just toppled over. I was twelve at the time, yet my curiosity and boyish desire to explore led me to my failed attempt to reach the fabled attic. It was about ten feet tall to reach the cord that would open the attic, so I devised a scheme to use the bookcase as a stepstool. The feeble bookcase had too narrow of a base to support my wiry 90 pound frame, and shortly after I commenced the climb I found myself on the floor. “WHAT WAS THAT?!”…

Everyone knows Harrison Ford, from Indiana Jones to Star Wars his career has been a success but his greatness was not immediate. Ford originally went to Los Angeles to get a job in radio voice overs. He didn't get the job, but he didn't give up on the entertainment industry altogether. Eventually he got some small uncredited roles in a few movies, yet it wasn’t nearly enough money to live by so Ford decided to leave the acting business and take up carpentry. It wasn't until 1973 when he got a role in American Graffiti and met George Lucas that he had a shot at making it big.…

When one thinks of romance novels, one might think of a middle aged woman, seated upwards in her bed beside her lamp on top of the nightstand, reading a romantic novel as her husband switches stations on the TV right beside her. This stereotype of romantic novels subordinates the American women who take enjoyment in them. Upon further study of romantic novels, the act of reading them can negatively impact the women who read them in more ways than one. The act of reading romantic novels leads to a yearning for more in life since the novels usually tell of a love story that provides the protagonist with a happy ending. This can lead to taking time away from the family circle, taking away from time with the family or spouse because of reading…

People toss around the world love but do they really know what it means? Love is a force of nature. Love is like how many stars are in the sky, how much it rains a week, or when a storm comes, it cannot be commanded to be taken away. It is a feeling you have towards someone that cannot be sold, bought, or traded. Love is uncontrollable and no matter how bad someone can treat you at a certain extent, you will still have love for that person.…
