I completely would agree in that, use the 5 strategies culturally competent patient care when providing care for patients cover a multiple different area, such as, continuing education for all employees, to function as team when caring for a patients, and to set any stereotypes when caring for a patients, and to assess the patient ability to understand the medical condition an treatment plans, and what I feel to be most important is to ask the patient how you can better help then in the healing process. I would also, agree that, nurses the follow these strategies will be able to care and meet the culture need of their patients. Thanks for sharing.
