Low sodium
4 g(no added salt) 2g, 1g, or 500 mg sodium diets. These vary from no added salt to severe sodium restriction (500 mg diet) that requires selective food purchases
Low cholesterol
300 mg/day in keeping w/ AHA guidelines for serum lipid reduction
Diabetic
around 1800 calories. Bal intake of carbs, fats, proteins. May vary to accomodate client's metabolic demands, which may be affected by an exercise program, pregnancy, or another illness
