The aid the the colonists received from the French is an immense amount. The French contributed a lot of men to fight in the war. It was more man than the colonist and the British combined. They gave the colonies a lot of military assistance. The French also provided the colonies with supplies and money.

Thomas Jefferson was a slave owner. Why then did he state in the Declaration of Independence that "all men are equal"

he thought the slaves were equal too, but because of the era or time in which he lived in, he felt obligated to own slaves.


When he stated that all men were equal he was including every men, complexity or none of that sort mattered.

It is often argued that the British lost the revolutionary war more than Americans won it. Agree or disagree.

Not only did the British lose the war, but they also lost a lot of money and navy support.
