Due to being the turning point of the war, the Battle of Saratoga is the most important battle in the American Revolution. All of the key events, such as the two battles that made up this big battle and how Benedict Arnold did not follow the General’s orders to stay back, led to the victorious win over the British. The Minutemen were the people who would drop everything to go fight for the Patriots and they fought hard to win against the British. The militia was a group of people fought as soldiers for America and they eventually made the British surrender ten days after they were surrounded in Saratoga. With these people working together, the British didn't stand chance, saying that the British had twice as much casualties as the Americans.
