As defined by Myers (2008), self-esteem simply means an individual’s overall sense of self-worth. In the workplace in these modern times, there are many variations of events that can ‘help’ to bring down one’s self esteem. So how exactly can one increase their self-esteem? Before anything can be done, he must first do an internal check on his strength and weaknesses. He must accept that no one is perfect. By knowing what his weaknesses are, he is able to focus more on his strengths.
An example would be when he is given a project to be completed within a specific deadline. If he realizes that his talent would be into designing anything creative, he can help by being the creative leader for the project and help to distribute the rest of the workload with his
