Interpersonal communication can be defined as when two people interact with each other. Interpersonal
communication can be experience in our daily lives when we have an encounter with someone. Furthermore,
interpersonal communication can be use anywhere be it at work, school, home or social gathering. An example of
interpersonal communication between my brother and I. My brother: Hello . Me: Hi. My brother: how was work
today?. Me: work was fine.(Feminism,2016).
Intrapersonal communication is a communicator's internal use of language or thoughts. This type of
communication occurs in the mind of the individual in a model which contains a sender, receiver and feedback loop.

However, these ideas in groups can be exchange through phone calls, emails, face to face conversations and
memos. Furthermore, during group communication each group member has the responsibility to actively participate
in group discussions, listen, able to handle conflict as well as the respect of the opinions of other members in the
group. More so, group communication can occur anywhere be it at school, work, house etc. An example of group
communication include; classrooms discussions . For example the students of University of the people
gathered in small groups to do their course assignment. (Feminism, 2016).
Public communication is a communication process which involves one person either speaking or writing to a group
of people. During public communication, the audience may either listen quietly to the speaker as she speaks or the
speaker may decide to engage her audience into the communication process by asking them questions as a way to
engage the audience and draw their attention on her message. For example last year March I had a seminar where I

When we successfully communicate with others, it gives us a positive impression
about ourselves as we know that we can communicate our thoughts and ideas to another person in a clear and
meaningful manner. Furthermore, interpersonal communication has a large impact on the perception we have on
others. That is to say during interpersonal communication, the physical appearance of those we interact with plays a
major role in our perception of them probably by their dress code and the way they carry themselves. In addition, by
writing down our interpersonal communications and analyzing them after we have a frustrating interpersonal
experience can help us to improve our communications as well as overcome obstacles presented by individuals in an
interpersonal experience and this can help us to become more effective communicators.(Anonymous,2016).
The context that appeal to me the least is group communication. I do not like group communication because it can
easily results to conflict as there are some people in group communications who can not just control their
