(AT&T Code of Ethics) Corporate Opportunities prohibits the use of company property for self-gain. The Confidentiality statement is protecting the customers, employees, and the company itself from any misuse of information. Within the code of ethics is a referral to a more detailed version called the Code of Conduct. AT&T’s Code of Conduct is a bit longer than their code of Ethics, a total of eleven pages, addressing employees of what exactly AT&T expects from them. It begins with a personal letter addressing employees from the CEO and Chairman of AT&T, Randall Stephenson. (AT&T Code of Conduct) Throughout the next few pages AT&T claims to embrace social differences among employees, promotes a sense of security within its workplace, and promises to conduct their business in accordance with the law.
