Apple Inc. (Apple or "the company") is engaged in design, development and marketing of personal computers (PCs), media devices, and portable digital music players. The company also sells a variety of related software, services, peripherals, networking solutions, and third-party digital content and applications. The company primarily operates in the US. It is headquartered in Cupertino, California. Apple Inc., formerly Apple Computer, Inc., is a multinational corporation that creates consumer electronics, personal computers, computer software, and commercial servers, and is a digital distributor of media content. They say that the soul of Apple is the people basically how they are hired, trained, motivated, and taught to communicate with the customers to create a new experience for them. Apple is more interested in how much you care about the customers more than how much you know about a device. The Apple employees are taught that they are doing something bigger than just fixing someone’s computer or phones. The Apple Store has developed this method of training its employees to communicate with customers and to make those customers feel empowered, engaged, happy and receptive. Many companies don’t have the same customer loyalty as Apple does. Many companies just train their employees to convince the customers to buy that product.
This strength is considered a distinctive competence because Apple builds relationships with their customers by doing that it creates an emotional connection. This enables them to gain the customers trust and makes it more likely for the customer or potential customer to buy or keep buying products from them. Not every company has good customer loyalty; it’s something that takes time and takes effort which Apple has done well. They make sure that they can do everything possible to help the customers with their experience with Apple products and by also helping them with problems that they have. Apple has taken customer loyalty to the next level; I don’t see a lot of companies doing what they do. I
