I am saying that the child should be taken to the jail to meet regular substance abusers and that they should be shown the effects and the toll that these substances take on a person. According to Drugabuse.gov, Marijuana is the most abused illicit substance for teens. This is most likely do to the fact that in some states medical marijuana is legal. These people would help you through your addiction, one step at a time. They would work at the rehabilitation center I brought up earlier. A Psychiatrist or Counselor would probably be the most helpful of these solutions because it doesn’t need a program created or a center built, but too many people aren’t taking advantage of talking to someone. Because sometimes that’s all it takes, talking to someone. This is an underappreciated resource that can be used to stop the problem before you even have to take steps like
