1.he impact of World War 2 had such a great impact on the world that the fear and concerns of going to another World War translated into the the structure of the United Nations. Looking at World War 2 from the United States viewpoint and seeing the struggles the United States went through it is easy to see how the United Nations Preamble has inherited some of the concerns and issues present in the united states. Take for example the second bullet point, it stated “to reaffirm faith in fundamental human rights, in the dignity and worth of the human person, in the equal rights of men and women and of nations large and small,” (Preamble to the Charter of the United Nations, 2). This mean equal opportunity for everyone. Prior to the war there was a big issue with equality both women and people of other ethnicities were fighting to get equal rights. Because of our reasoning for entering the war, we could not discriminate against African Americans and due to men being away from see women were able to obtain the jobs that were left behind and aided in the production for war. Women prior to the war, though they did have jobs, they did not have the occupational prestige that men had. Therefore when the United States entered the war job opportunities popped up and women were eager to grab them. Although it took time the people got what they wanted and with the preamble stating that there is equal rights for women and women and it is under the United nations which includes all nations…
