Montana Life Lesson Report

My “teacher” that has taught me a life lesson is my best friend Montana. Montana is a redhead, has blue eyes, is skinny and is about 5’5. The only people that are involved in this incident are Montana and I. A personality trait that she has is being there to cheer you up. In March, I was going through a hard time with the death of my grandpa. I knew that Montana was going to be there to cheer me up when no one was. When I got at school i knew that Montana was going to be there and I could just go to her and talk about it with her. When I give Montana a hug it makes me feel like everything is going to be okay. Such as during this experience, Montana made me feel like everything is going to be okay and not to worry about anything.
The life lesson that Montana has taught me is to stay true to what you believe in. In September/October of 2014 my grandpa was diagnosed with lymphoma (type of cancer in your lymph nodes). I went through a hard time between September/October of 2014 and March of 2015 just knowing that my grandpa could die. My grandpa was more than just my grandpa he was my best friend and he taught me a lot throughout his life and mine. It has been over 7

My family treats her like she is a part of my family and her family treats me like I am a part of their family. Since this has happened, we have grown closer. I am so glad that she is in my life and she understands what I am going through. Montana is the bestest friend that anyone could ever ask for. I am so glad that she has taught me this life lesson. I think since Montana has taught me this it is made my life better and I would not be where I am today if it was not for her. It has made our relationship better and I have learned to stick to what I believe in. I am so lucky to say that Montana has been the biggest blessing in my life. Montana has not only helped me but, she has helped other people get through the difficult time in their

The author explained this area as quiet and small, with less than two thousand people living there. As secrets about Uncle Frank unveiled, Wesley knew he had to do something about it before everyone found out.…

The Common Man’s Tragic Hero In Arthur Miller’s “Tragedy and the Common Man” the author outlines his argument that the common man can have a prominent place in modern literary tragedies, just as those of noble birth did in the classic tragedies of the past. In Larry Watson’s Montana 1948, the main character, Wes, demonstrates Miller’s definition of a common tragic hero through his struggle to do the right thing after his brother murders a young Native American woman in the town where Wes is the sheriff. Up until this point in his life, Wes had always “gone with the flow” and lived the life that his father wanted for him. Through a series of events, Wes must choose between family loyalty and justice for his brother’s victim. The tragedy of…

As teenagers growing up in Powder Springs, Georgia during the 1980’s, it was somewhat challenging at times to find safe and entertaining ways to occupy our time. Even though we did not have free reign to do as we chose, I would not categorize my parents as extremely strict. Relying on our parents, as if they were our personal taxi service, my sister and I struggled to find activities relatively close to home. After discovering we really enjoyed skating, we spent countless Friday and Saturday nights at the Sparkles Skating Rink in Paulding County. The indoor facility was a safe environment for teenagers, which provided my parents with a certain level of comfort to allow us to gather with friends.…

From the moment we are born we begin to learn important lessons teach us. These lessons are essential in helping to shape our character, and ultimately lead to who we become. Everybody has had that moment when someone, or even possible something, has taught you a valuable lesson that you will never forget. I know that I’ve had a multitude of them, but most of them I can’t remember the specific situation that transpired to teach me the lesson. For example, I can’t remember the first time that I touched a hot stove and realized that I probably shouldn’t do that.…

How have your life lessons shaped your future? In the book, “The Five People You Meet In Heaven,” by Mitch Albom, the main character, Eddie is taught various life lessons from people who have affected his life. When I was younger, I was always told by my parents to never fight, whether it be verbally or physical. For the most part, I always followed those understandable rules, but that does not mean I was never tempted. When I was in the seventh grade, I had a girl approach me in front of our entire class, and tell me she wanted to fight. To this day, I do not remember what I did to make her want to cause me physical harm, but I know I was not ready for the class to think I was a “punk”. However I could not fight her, because I was going to get in trouble with my parents, and although I was extremely mad at the girl, I will take walking away from her than disobeying my parents any day.…

The most valued lesson I got from this was to appreciate every moment and the memories you get to make with your family. These are the only things that will be kept after they are gone forever. Also I believe that if you don’t value this kind of small stuff that in reality means a lot then you are not really living life to the fullest. Appreciation towards my family will be something I show to them from now until GOD decides that it’s time to leave this earth. I believe that GOD has a plan for everyone in this life and once we accomplish that plan he wants us back with him.…
