When our students fail, we, as teachers, too, have failed.” ~Marva Collins There will always be a student that will be struggling and as a teacher you should never give up on the student and help them succeed. In becoming a teacher, I will need a certain amount of education, understand what my responsibilities and requirements will be ,and make sure the job fits in with my future lifestyle.
When going into any career, it would be helpful to know the requirements needed for the career. Career planning is an important thing when going to college and it will help you out a ton so you don’t have to try to figure everything out your senior year. I would look into colleges that would have the best teaching program to begin my studies to become a math teacher. University of Northern Iowa has an excellent teaching program also you can do charter program which we are lucky enough to offer at our school and that has 1 year of college already paid for. Most teaching jobs require five years of college to get your bachelor 's degree (“Summary”). Buena Vista University offers a program in which you can get a 8 year college diploma in only 5 years (“Gonzalez”). Going out of the state will be more expensive than if you were to stay in the state, but you always have scholarships that can help lower that “sticker price” Something else that you need to…
