The President Obama administration rules set fat, sugar and sodium limits on foods in the lunch line and beyond. Schools have long been required to follow government nutrition rules if they accept federal reimbursements for free and reduced-price meals for low-income students, but these standards were stricter, and kids were throwing the lunches away

Also they leave all of their meals untouched because they do not like the food they are forced to put on their trey. They also do not like the taste of these meals because they are mostly bland.They also do not like the looks of the lunch because then they won’t want to eat them.The school lunches also can cause sickness because of the grease, bad meats and the fat.Most schools garbage cans are being overflowed by school lunches.In these school lunches they also use dub pink slime and lean beef
