A common debate in schools is what options should be provided for lunch. The school administrations and parents often want their students to be served healthy lunches, but students typically prefer unhealthy alternatives that taste much better. Although unhealthy school lunches appeal more than healthy lunches, I think it is a better idea for nutritious meals to be served during the school day.
High schoolers are usually able to make their own conscious decisions about what food they eat, so they can be trusted to pick at least a relatively healthy meal most of the time.
