I saw the sun sink within
I saw its scarlet shades blend into the blues.
There are sparks that linger in the cold mist.
And whenever the breeze missed out on the tale;
Passion grew strong like old vine.
And whenever Time closed its eyes,
The sparks warmed the deep-
The cold and forgotten bottoms of the sea.
The sea saw the sky-
And every night when the moon came to kiss it good night,
The tides rose a bit.
And fell asleep reflecting the dark eyes;
And drifted into a blissful swoon.
Drifting past were silent sails of change.
And the tides found reason only to wait for the sky.
‘Who reflected the other’- and ‘how they did it’ was a mystery.
But their hearts spoke in incomprehensible tongues and their eyes exchanged
