Islam spread so quickly because of trading. Trading allowed the delivery of the Islamic religion expand. From the Great Ages of Man: Early Islam, Time-life books, document A, was a map of why Mecca was prosperous and important. First, it was at the crossroads of the lucrative caravan trade. Mecca was also the center point of Arabia, and where Muhammad created Islam. People were constantly arriving and leaving Mecca. With all the visitors, allowed Islam to connect to other places.
