Who would make a better President? The candidate who offends people because of where they come from and what their beliefs are, or the candidate who believes that immigrants who come into this country are looking for a better future and is willing to do anything and everything in her power to make everyone feel equal. Would you rather have the candidate that has no political experience, or the candidate that has thirty-five years under her belt? For example Hillary Clinton served as the first lady from 1993 to 2001. In 2000 she was elected as the first female senator. He started attacking Mexican immigrants with remarks stating, “When Mexico sends its people, they are not sending the best. They are sending people with lots of problems and they are bringing those problems. They are bringing drugs, they are bringing crime. They are rapists and some I assume, are good people.” After this harsh announcement, many businesses announced plans to cut ties with Trump’s business empire. Trump wants to round up all illegals and deport them. Not only does Trump want to build a wall across the Southern border, but he also wants to end birthright citizenship. According to Pew Citizenship Center, approximately 7.5 percent of all births are to unauthorized immigrants. Unlike Clinton, Trump wants to do away with the DREAM Act. Not only does he want to kick out illegal adults he calls rapists, but he also wants to end the dream of many. Trump wants to deport millions of children who were brought here at a young age. Second, Hillary Clinton makes women’s rights the center of her campaign. Clinton ensures equal pay for women. She states that many women are still struggling to get equal rights and the same respect as business men have. She will increase the minimum wage of which women represent two-thirds. Trump wants to do away with gun- free zones, which include schools, military bases, and airports. Even though some of his views on this are justified, it is still absurd. Teachers should not be allowed to bring a gun to school. How would that make the parents feel? How would the students feel? Trump states that most shootings happen because of mental illness, nether the less what if teachers had a mental problem and let out all the anger on the students.
