After my parents divorced I lived with my father for some time which did not help my need for direction because my dad would be asleep most of the day since he worked night shifts at his job so that left me with only my teachers and my baby sitter to teach me good morals, which I lacked at first as a child but what child doesn 't? I later moved with my mom at age seven but by this age I was already taught most of my permanent morals. I am personally proud of who I am today based on the lack of parenting I endured in my life and although I hated not having much care, toys or possessions as a child I look at it very positively today. The way I see it, if I were to have everything handed to me as a child, then I would not be nearly as appreciative of what I have today, compared to other people my age, which I find to be a good moral. I did not have much help at a younger age so I appreciate any help I get today whether it be in a one on one project or a group project. So I would be more than willing to work with others especially because I personally believe that most of the time it takes more than one person to get the job done faster and more efficiently. Either way, I feel that I will be just fine as long as I respect my peers, speak clearly, maintain my manners, and most importantly maintain my peaceful living in order to be more accepting to different aspects of the job such as surface-level diversity and deep-level diversity which is very important in the work industry these days due to many minorities playing a big role in corporations in order to better distribute a certain product and comprehend different matters. I would say that I am an example of a minority in the work industry because I am Hispanic, bilingual, and have the ability to effectively help a company just as much as another candidate of any other race. I believe that we are all just as equal as the next person depending on our skills and corporate spiritualism. The only time race should be taken into consideration is when affirmative action comes into the picture but even then we are all still equal and working together and with teamwork and diversity we might even come across new morals and values as we accept new cultures along the way.
