When thoughts of child hood focus on Grandpa Kotara, the focus of how lucky one could be to have a patient, trusty man such as he in their life. When other boys played with toy pieces of equipment, the sandbox provided at Grandpas had life-size equipotent. Boy hood heaven no doubt. Mother always paid, it seemed, too much attention, however, this student realizes that with his father not present, she merely tried to compensate for the missing figure. As an adult the thoughts of her love for her son answers why she paid so much attention. The input and opportunity given by this dumbfounded operator still amazes him today.
