What is death penalty? Death penalty is a form of punishment that involves the act of revenge to those people that commit a serious crime. Originally, death penalty viewed as an action that makes the criminal to pay the price to what they committed at the past. Death penalty is an irreversible form of punishment (, 2013). It usually implement on person who commit on espionage, murder, or dealing drug crime. In the previous time, the methods to execute death penalty are very terror and cruel compare to now. This is because during past, death penalty normally does not see as the punishment but must be executed to ensure person was executed had to be painful (wisegeek, n.d.) Execution of death penalty is just like an act of killing a person. Killing a person is the most ultimate evil. Hence, death penalty should be seen as morally wrong. In fact, killing a murderer does not bring back victim’s life but causes the death of another person.

Execution of death penalty also shows unrespectful towards human’s life. In terms of society views, simply execute death penalty to a person may causes public had a strong impression that the value of human life is so low. This is because death penalty had denies holy of human’s life (Robinson, 2012). Capital punishment may cause a society to develop a wrong mindset that violence action can curb wrongdoings. Also, death penalty is opposed by most of the religion as human is creation of God. Most of the religion believes that only the God have the ultimate right to take off a person’s life. According to the Mr. Viguerie, killing of a person as a form of punishment is oppose by Christ (Meehan, 1982). In most of the religion belief, the value of a human life is priceless. Hence, death penalty is seen as a highest penalty for criminal. Besides, death penalty is too cruel to execute.
