Brutus was Roman politician known as a person that was very loyal to his friends and his country, but he had to make many major decisions in his life that would cause a major conflict with his friends and his country. He was also known as a tragedy hero because of the major problems he faced which was the loyalty to his friend Julius and to his country. One of the problems he faced was having to consider being involved in the assassinations of his dear friend Julius Caesar. Eventually, he was considered as one of the main conspiracy that assassinated Julius Caesar. Even though he had major decisions to make in his life was his decision justifiable, did he remain loyal, and could he live with the decision that he made?

He did not really want to participate in the assassination of Caesar, but he knew he had a major decision to make. Even though Caesar and Brutus were good friends he felt he owed more loyalty to his country. He decided to proceed with the helping assassination of his good friend Caesar, by stabbing him in the back. After killing Caesar, he felt the need to defend his action and felt that his reason was justifiable. Brutus labeled himself as a man with high level of respect for the people, but he could not give a logical reason as to why he decided to participate in the assassination of his friend Ceasar. According to the text, “So he tried to think of the assassination in terms of a quasi-religious ritual instead of cold-blooded murder makes it more acceptable to him”.
