Friar Lawrence is the blame for Romeo and Juliet’s death because he thought it would be a good idea to marry them, he helped Juliet fake her death to prevent her from marrying Paris, he also failed to deliver the message that Juliet was not actually dead. To begin with, Friar Lawrence is the blame because he knew that both households were rivalries, but decided to marry them thinking it would fix the issues both families had.
